Telegrafia has successfully delivered and installed an electronic siren system in a key border area in northern Georgia, near the Russian border. The siren, a Pavian 900 W, is now in operation in the Dariali Gorge, close to the Larsi checkpoint at the Russian-Georgian border, providing coverage across the surrounding mountainous region.

Why This Location Matters

This location is significant due to its proximity to the international border and its setting in a narrow mountain valley, where natural hazards such as landslides, avalanches, or earthquakes are possible. The area also has strategic importance, making a reliable warning system essential for protecting residents, travellers, and emergency services.

How the Siren System Protects

The Pavian 900 W siren delivers strong acoustic warning signals that are effective even in poor weather conditions or loud environments. It can be activated remotely as part of an early warning system, ensuring timely alerts in case of danger.

Effective Warning Coverage

The siren system was developed and installed in close cooperation with our partner, Digital Technologies LLC. Thanks to their expertise and support, the installation was carried out successfully. This partnership enabled us to deliver a dependable solution that enhances safety for local communities. The siren is now a fully operational and trusted component of the area’s warning system, ready to assist in emergencies and protect public well-being.

Strengthening Emergency Preparedness in the Caucasus

This project once again highlights Telegrafia’s commitment to delivering state-of-the-art warning systems tailored to the most demanding environments. Whether in earthquake-prone areas, flood zones, or regions facing geopolitical risks, our technologies help authorities respond faster and more effectively. The installation in Georgia serves as a testament to how innovation, cooperation, and engineering excellence can come together to protect lives, infrastructure, and national security.
