When Winter Is Truly Winter (with snow)
They say that sometimes less is more. But sometimes more… is simply more. And this time, it truly was.
Our latest teambuilding brought together four Telegrafia teams – Sales, Marketing, ERP and IT – for a shared winter trip. The goal was simple: spend time together outside the office, get to know each other better, and strengthen connections across teams. For the first time, we also crossed the Slovak borders for a teambuilding event and headed to the Polish spa town of Krynica, where winter was still properly winter – with snow and perfect conditions for what many of us had been looking forward to: skiing.
Welcome to “Beaverland”
With cars assigned, routes planned, and a quick group photo before departure, we set off toward our destination. The journey itself was smooth and surprisingly quick, and our first stop in Krynica was a café in the town center, where coffee and something sweet helped us recharge before the day’s activities.
Not everyone in the group skis – and that’s perfectly fine. So, for a few hours, our paths split. Most of the group headed straight to the slopes, while the rest set off on a walk toward a nearby observation tower. Of course, a little “segregation” at a teambuilding might sound unusual – but don’t worry. We all met again later and continued building the team together.

Slopes, a Viewpoint, and Temporary Segregation
On the slopes, both experienced skiers and beginners had their moment. Some colleagues were standing on skis for the first time, so we arranged an instructor who patiently explained the basics and helped everyone gain confidence. From what we heard, the slope was lively, fun, and thankfully almost fall-free.
Meanwhile, the second group chose a snowy walk toward an observation tower. The route turned out to be easier than expected, but still full of good energy and a few winter challenges. At the top, we climbed the tower, enjoyed beautiful mountain views, and, of course, documented the moment with photos. After lunch near the tower, we slowly made our way back, taking a different route just to keep things interesting – and occasionally dodging snowballs along the way.

The Real Teambuilding
The real team spirit started in the evening when everyone gathered again at the hotel. After dinner, the program was open – some explored the town, others relaxed in the pool or sauna, and some simply enjoyed a quiet drink.
Later in the evening, we all met in the VIP lounge, where the atmosphere truly came alive. Music, billiards, board games, and a bit of friendly competition filled the night. Teams formed naturally, laughter was everywhere, and conversations stretched long past midnight. It was exactly the kind of evening where colleagues become more than just colleagues.
Day Two
Morning came quickly. After breakfast and coffee, we set off again, this time for a more relaxed activity – the treetop walkway near Krynica. A cable car took us close to the entrance, and from the top of the structure, we enjoyed panoramic views of the surrounding winter landscape. Another group photo, a few frozen beards, and it was time to head down.

Just Two More Stops
Before returning home, we made two final stops. First for lunch while still in Poland – a well-deserved reward after a weekend full of activities. The last stop was in Bardejov, where coffee and cake gave us enough energy for the final kilometers back to Telegrafia.
Half tired, half still thinking about the snowy slopes, we returned home with a stronger sense of team. Spending time together outside the office helped us connect, share experiences, and get to know each other a little better. And since this time we even crossed the border, who knows what the next teambuilding will bring.
One thing is certain – sometimes more really is more.
